Ideasbox is a transformational technology: a fully autonomous, transportable, and durable toolkit that quickly becomes a multimedia center, school, or community hub. Each unit contains a satellite internet connection and server, generator, tablets and laptops, cameras, games, and additional materials to design interactive curriculum. Powered by the Ideas Cube, the digital curriculum allows online access to reach offline communities in customized ways, curriculum which is constantly enhanced via a global community of content consumers and creators.
Ideasbox is an initiative stemming from Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (BSF) / Libraries Without Borders (LWB), co-founded by Jeremy Lachal and Patrick Weil. BSF has developed into one of the most innovative NGOs in the field of access to education and information, receiving numerous awards including “la France S’engage” from the French President and the Google Impact Challenge.
